Will a Credit Check Be Required for a Mortgage?

The short answer is yes because you can’t get a mortgage without a credit check.

However, initially, we will only need to carry out a ‘soft’ credit check in order to find you the most suitable mortgage. This won’t affect your credit score in any way, and it won’t show up on your credit file.

Alternatively, we can look through your credit file and give our opinion.
